ABOUT JACOB

Jacob Shakespeare is an 18 year old gay pop artist from Tamworth, near Birmingham in the UK (currently based in Leeds). Since releasing his debut single in August 2024 and his debut EP in February 2025, Jacob has amassed over 40,000 streams, and 1,200 followers across his social media platforms. He has developed a small but passionate fanbase of music lovers similar to him, creating an inclusive community with whom he shares his music, with the aim of making everyone, from all walks of life, feel accepted and understood.

 

His debut EP ‘the things you do’ acted as a testing ground for Jacob to play around with a variety of genres and find where he is most comfortable. His upcoming releases and sophomore EP (which is currently in its final stages of production) lean more into the synth/ alt pop genre, all of his new tracks entirely self produced. He has been writing songs since the age of 14, teaching himself to sing and play the piano, but also produce and record his own tracks. At heart, Jacob is a lyricist. He possesses the unique ability to write raw, emotional, heartfelt songs, as well as upbeat, catchy tracks. He has repeatedly been played on Future Hits Radio, and has found coverage by multiple music blogs, all praising his vision, drive and artistry.

 

He is yet to perform live, but possesses a unique and refined vision for how his performances will go. With a mix of his upcoming releases and older tracks, his discography, passion and enthusiasm will ensure an engaging, entertaining and interesting performance.
